Welland man wanted in January Brampton shooting

A Welland man is wanted for allegedly shooting a woman in Brampton in January of this year.

Niyo Tyrese Hill, 25, reportedly shot the un-named female at a hotel on Nexus Avenue.

The woman, who was in her 20s, suffered non-life threatening wounds and police say that she did not know Hill, who remains at large.

A warrant for Hill’s arrest has been issued for a number of charges, including robbery and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Peel police warn members of the public to call 911 if they see Niyo Tyrese Hill or know of his whereabouts.
