Welland man arrested on child pornography charges

A Welland man has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Niagara Regional Police began an investigation into child exploitation material in April.

Investigators were led to a Welland resident.

Salvatore Spadaro, 38, was arrested on Thursday.

He’s been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, one count of accessing child pornography and one count of making available child pornography.

The public can report suspicious Internet activities relating to child exploitation to the Niagara Regional Police Service or online.
