Waterdown girl performs in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

A 10-year-old Waterdown girl is living her dream on the stage, performing as part of the hit mega-musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Emma Grace Stead has loved singing for as long as she can remember, and when she saw the musical Romeo and Juliet, she was inspired.
She can be found on stage at the Princess of Wales Theatre, which has been hosting a Mirvish Production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat from Dec. 11 to Jan. 22.
It’s a re-telling of the biblical story of Joseph, who was sold into slavery by his brothers, but rose through the ranks by correctly interpreting the Pharaoh’s dreams and saving Egypt from famine.
After landing her role, Stead’s now a very busy 10-year-old, currently going to school full time.
She travels to Toronto six days a week to perform, all while honing her skills at CBY Music and Performing Arts in Waterdown.
