Halton Regional Police were called to Coronation Park in Oakville after a man fell into Lake Ontario. The man suffered minor injuries after slipping on rocks near the shoreline. The Marine Unit and paramedics had to carry the 27-year-old man on a stretcher from the shore to an ambulance. Police are calling the incident a “misadventure” and say alcohol was a factor.
