Water main breaks

Some residents in an east Hamilton neighbourhood have been without water overnight.

City work crews have been working to repair a water main break on Cochrane Rd between Lawrence and Hixon. That section of Cochrane is closed, while city buses are re-routed.

Late last night residents were trying to direct flowing water and slush away from homes and into catch basins on the street.
