Federal government invests in sustainable manufacturer in Brantford

In an announcement made Tuesday, Minister of Economic Development Filomena Tassi says $1 million is being invested into a sustainable manufacturing company in Brantford.
The Hamilton-West MP said during the announcement, “Canadians have been clear – they want to grow their local economy and ensure a clean environment for future generations.”

The investment will go towards Lintec Label and Print Solutions, a company that uses environmentally safe processes for the production of labels for products varying from food and beverage to the household and personal care markets.
In partnership with Lambton College, Lintec will be using the investment to produce new compost, recyclable and cost effective packaging .
Lintec additionally says that the company will be undergoing facility improvements, providing further training for current employees and creating eight new jobs in the Brantford community.
