The province is expected to release new COVID-19 projections Thursday afternoon.

The new modelling comes two weeks after the government declared a state of emergency and imposed a stay-at-home order.

At the time, the data suggested surging COVID-19 cases were on the verge of overwhelming the health-care system.

The update is expected to begin at 3 p.m.
