WATCH LIVE: Federal, provincial governments to make Hamilton LRT announcement at 10 a.m.

The federal and provincial government are set to make an announcement about the Hamilton LRT on Thursday.
Ontario Transportation Minister Caroline Mulroney and Catherine McKenna, Federal Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, will make a virtual announcement at 10 a.m.
They will be joined by Filomena Tassi, Federal Minister of Labour and Fred Eisenberger, Mayor of Hamilton, along with representatives of LiUNA International, McMaster University, Hamilton Health Sciences and Metrolinx.
The announcement will be followed by a media availability.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced federal funding for the Hamilton transit project.
The 14-kilometre line would run from McMaster University in the west to Eastgate in the east.
CHCH News has learned the federal and provincial governments will each contribute $1.7 billion.
The City of Hamilton will have to pick up the operating costs.
