Was Magnotta in L.A.?

Los Angeles police are looking into possible connections between Luka Magnotta and their investigation into body parts found at the Hollywood sign earlier this year.

Hervey Medellin, 66, was a former flight attendant – and his torso still hasn’t been located since his head, hands and feet were found. Montreal Police believe Magnotta may have been in Los Angeles at that time.

Magnotta is still being held in a jail in Germany awaiting extradition to Canada. A Berlin court says there will be no information on his extradition until at least Monday. He’s wanted here for the murder and dismemberment of Chinese student Jun Lin.
