Warm weather impact on farms

The temperature climbed to a record setting 18 degrees in Hamilton Thursday afternoon, shattering the previous high of 14 set back in 1984.

The warm February weather is great for getting you out of the winter blah’s, but according to local farmers and fruit growers, a normal snowy winter would be better for them to produce fruits and vegetables for the local markets and grocery stores.
