Wanted man arrested for second-degree murder in Brantford

A man wanted for second-degree murder was arrested Friday evening in the area of Queen and Darling streets in Brantford.

Brantford police issued an alert yesterday morning for Bradley George Saunders, who was wanted in the fatal stabbing of a man at a residence on Charlotte Street on Thursday afternoon.

Police had described the twenty-seven-year old as “armed and dangerous” and say that “collaborative efforts of several units” led to his apprehension.

Bradley George Saunders was arrested by Brantford police for second-degree murder.

During the arrest, a search of the accused resulted in the recovery of crystal meth.

In a press statement Brantford police also thanked members of the public for their assistance in the case.

Saunders is currently in police custody where he is being held for bail.
