Wanted Hamilton Man

Hamilton police are asking the public for help in locating a male suspect.

On July 3 before 8:30 pm, a female was walking in an empty parking lot at Main Street East and Hughson Street South in Hamilton when she was struck from behind by a vehicle.

The driver and vehicle fled the scene. The female was injured and was looked after by paramedics.

After investigating, the Hamilton Police Human Trafficking Unit and the Homicide Unit have identified the male suspect was identified.

Hamilton Police are looking for Douvainn Dean. He is described as male, black, 20 years of age, approximately 5’5″ tall, and 160lbs.

He has a scar on the right side of his face and is known to wear glasses.

He is also known to frequent hotels and be in the company of young females.

Dean is wanted by police for Attempted Murder, Assault, Material Benefits from Sexual Services and Advertise Sexual Services.

If anyone has information, they are asked to contact Police or Crime Stoppers.
