Nestlé Canada has issued a voluntary recall for some of its Halloween-themed candy.

Currently, no injury or illness has been reported but the company is warning the public that six batches of its holiday-themed chocolate, named “Halloween Scary Friends,” may be contaminated with traces of plastic that could pose a choking hazard.

No other products from its KitKat chocolate line in Canada are being affected by this recall.

It says that these products were sold at retailers across the country and that consumers should be on the lookout for both individually wrapped bars as well as bulk boxes of 40.

The company is advising its customers who currently have these products to throw them out.
