Vision for Hamilton hospitals

Big changes are coming to Hamilton hospitals. Hamilton Health Sciences CEO Rob MacIsaac says they include a new hospital for women and children.
In an interview with the Hamilton Spectator, MacIsaac says it would be built in the next twenty years, probably near Hamilton General, and may replace the current McMaster Children’s Hospital. The General and Juravinski hospitals would be redeveloped for acute care.
The plan also revives redevelopment of West Lincoln Memorial hospital that was cancelled in 2012 by Premier Dalton McGuinty.
