Video shows firefighters battling blaze in historic Niagara Falls building, no one injured

A historic building in Niagara Falls went up in flames Wednesday evening, which ripped through the rooftop.
The Empire Building located at the corner of Park Street and Erie Avenue caught fire at around 7:45 p.m.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find smoke and fire coming from the building.
Two aerial trucks were reported to have been seen dumping water onto the building after the fire damaged the roof.
Firefighters were seen tackling the blaze from a distance, saying it was unsafe to enter the building due to the possibility of structural collapse.
Niagara Falls Deputy Chief Ken Henry says they will work with the Niagara Regional Police Service to investigate the blaze.
He says that no injuries have been reported due to the fire.
Niagara police tell CHCH News they do not have any evidence to suggest that the fire was started intentionally.
