VIDEO: Ontario Minister Sylvia Jones announces new Reactivation Care Centre in Hamilton

Ontario Minister of Health Sylvia Jones made an announcement at St. Joseph’s Villa at Monday at noon that construction was underway for a new Reactivation Care Centre in Hamilton.

The provincial government says it will invest more than $16 million to build the new care centre. The new centre is planned to be 28,000 square-feet in size and include 57 transitional care beds across three units.

The new facility will also include four rooms providing dialysis services.

Jones says that construction is expected to finish by spring 2026.
