Video captures moment OPP officer is struck by stolen truck in Dunnville

A cell phone video shows the frightening moment an Ontario Provincial Police officer is struck by a stolen vehicle as the driver attempts to flee.
It happened Saturday evening in the parking lot of a local business on Broad St. East in Dunnville.
The officer was trying to stop the stolen truck when the driver fled the area and proceeded to hit the officer along with several other vehicles in the parking lot.
Video of the incident shows the officer running to the driver’s side of the vehicle where another person is attempting to open the door.
Seconds later, the video appears to show the driver and passenger speed away and the officer becomes wedged between a parked vehicle and the large utility trailer attached to the stolen truck.
The officer was taken to hospital with injuries.
Police are still looking for a man and woman in their twenties they believe are responsible for the theft.
The man is described as approximately five-foot-nine, with a slim build, dark hair, and facial hair. He was wearing a black baseball hat with a white Puma logo, a black t-shirt with a white caption and logo on the left breast area, black jeans, and black Nike running shoes. His face was covered with a light grey face mask with cartoon pictures of vintage cars on it.
The woman, who was a passenger in the vehicle, is described as approximately five-foot-six, with a slim build, and blonde hair tied back in a low bun. She was wearing a yellow t-shirt with a Fila trademark logo, black shorts with white trim on the sides and bottom, black shoes with red soles, and a black face mask with white lettering.
The stolen truck is described as a two-tone grey and beige 2007 Ford F250 pickup truck extended cab with a damaged driver’s side window. Police say it was pulling a white enclosed utility trailer.
