Victims speak at Rafferty sentencing

Updated Eight members of Tori Stafford’s family remembered the eight year old girl in their victim impact statements today.

While they poured their hearts out, the man found guilty in her brutal rape and murder – a man the judge called a “monster” – heard how he fractured a family, and took the life of a beloved daughter and sister. Michael Rafferty was then sentenced to life behind bars, bringing his emotional ten-week trial to a close. Our Cristina Tenaglia has the story.
