Victim tied to chair, robbed after thieves break into home in Haldimand County

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating an armed home invasion in Haldimand County.
Officers were called to a home on Concession 2 in Walpole around 8 p.m. on March 24.
The victim reported to police that around noon a male and female had forced their way into the home and tied the victim to a chair.
The duo was armed with “edged weapons” and stole cash, credit cards and a debit card from the victim.
Police are hoping the public can help provide some information that may lead to identifying the suspects.
They are described as wearing masks, jackets and winter hats.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area to contact 1-888-310-1122.
