Victim of Hwy 6 fatal identified

Provincial police have released the name of the man killed in Tuesday’s fatal collision in Flamborough.

Jason Lees, 37, of Hamilton died at the scene. The OPP say he was driving a Toyota Tercel north on Highway 6 near Concession 7 East when his car crossed the centre line and hit a van head-on.

A second van then collided with the first one. The drivers of the minivans were sent to Hamilton General Hospital with minor injuries.

The reason for the crash is still under investigation.
