Vanier Cup a hot ticket

If Laval is able to beat McMaster in the Vanier Cup, they’ll set a new CIS record, with seven championship titles.

But it looks like there’s another record that could be broken that night. Ticket sales haven’t stopped, and as a result, organizers will be opening-up a portion of the 500 level at the Rogers Centre in order to accommodate all the fans.

The current attendance record was set in 1989 at the-then Skydome, when the Western Mustangs beat the Saskatchewan Huskies before a crowd of 32,847.
