Vaccinations begin in Niagara

The province says 11,231 people were given the shot yesterday bringing the total doses given so far to 144,784. But each vaccine needs two shots to be fully effective and so far only 8,778 people have received two doses. But the vaccine is reaching more areas this week with the first doses given out in Niagara today and one doctor there was emotional describing the scene as a “glimmer of hope.” Kelly Botelho reports.
