USB charger recall

Over 1.5 million USB chargers have been recalled by Health Canada over shock and fire concerns.

The federal agency has released a list of more than two dozen uncertified USB chargers that are sold under various manufacturing names. The chargers were sold in a number of retail outlets such as dollar stores and gas stations.

Health Canada says you should immediately stop using the products and either return them to the retailer where you bought them or dispose of them. For a full product list visit: healthycanadians.gc.ca

Health Canada is reminding consumers to only purchase electrical products that have been certified.
