It’s day two of a lockout at U.S. Steel’s Lake Erie operation…

This is the second time in three years that the nearly 1,000 workers at the Nanticoke mill have been locked out. Employees rejected a final contract offer from the company who shut the gates of its plant Sunday. The lockout has angry employees questioning promises the company made to the federal government about continuing production in Canada. Currently, no new talks are scheduled.
