Two teens dead in Jolley Cut incident

Police have now confirmed it was two teens whose bodies were found Saturday morning below the Jolley Cut in Hamilton, but are staying tight-lipped about the investigation.

The Special Investigations Unit is involved because an off-duty police officer spoke to the two young men about an hour before their bodies were discovered, warning them they were in an unsafe area.

It’s still not clear how the teens died, and police are not releasing their names at the request of their families.
