Two suffer critical injuries in Hamilton crash

Two women suffered critical injuries in a crash that shut down Upper James and Airport Road in Hamilton on Sunday afternoon.

They were in a van that flipped and crashed into a light pole after colliding with an SUV.

The two women in their 70s were trapped in the van when emergency crews arrived.

A 45-year-old woman and her teenage daughter were in the SUV. They are expected to recover from their injuries.
