Two stabbed in home invasion

Peel Police are looking for three men after two people were stabbed during a home invasion.

Investigators say the attackers broke into a home on Adena Crescent near the QEW and Hurontario in Mississauga around 12:30 this morning. Paramedics say the two men who lived there suffered serious injuries, but are expected to recover. One had to have surgery.

Thomas Ruttan of Peel Police wants to hear from any neighbour with a security system. “We are finding that people are installing these security systems and they can help in our investigation, so if anyone in the neighbourhood does have these types of security systems installed, we would like to speak with them, so that we can download that information and try to glean as much information from it as possible.”

Police haven’t released detailed descriptions of the attackers, except to say they’re looking for three men with darker skin. They were wearing balaclavas.
