Two shot during Toronto bank Robbery

Two people are in hospital after being shot and injured during a bank robbery in Toronto.

It happened around noon on Sunday at a TD bank near St. Clair Avenue and Runnymede Road. Toronto Police say one of the victims was a 22-year-old woman, who was shot in the thigh, while the second victim was a customer in his 50s, who was shot in the abdomen.The victims were rushed to Toronto hospitals. The woman is in stable condition while the man is in serious condition.

Both suspects are described as black men in their 20’s with medium builds. One was wearing a quilted vest, the other a black hooded sweatshirt.

Police have located the stolen vehicle used by the suspects to flee the scene, but no arrests have been made.
