Two people killed in Georgetown house fire, cause remains under investigation

The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called to investigate a deadly house fire in Georgetown on Wednesday.

Emergency crews were called to the home on Hidden Lake Trail around 5:30 a.m.

The home was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived. Two people were found dead inside.

Halton Hills Fire crews were able to put out the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called to help with the investigation.
