Two men wanted in ‘targeted’ home invasion on Hamilton Mountain

Hamilton police are searching for two men after a violent home invasion on Hamilton Mountain.

Officers were called to a home near Limeridge Rd. East and Upper Ottawa St. around 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say two men broke into the home and demanded property from the residents. One of the suspects was armed with a gun.

One person was assaulted before the duo fled the scene in a blue SUV. The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say both suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts and ski masks. Police believe the attack was targeted.
