Two men arrested in drug trafficking investigation: Halton police

Two men from Halton Region have been arrested following a three-month-long investigation by police.

Police say 38-year-old Charles Micallef, of Burlington, and 36-year-old Andrew Kreston, of Oakville, were arrested on Wednesday.

Micallef has been charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon. Kreston faces one count of trafficking cocaine.

Police executed a search warrant at a home in Burlington and seized 23 grams of cocaine, 2.1 grams of psilocybin and 129 Clonazepam pills.
