Two men arrested, $26,500 of drugs seized in Brantford

Brantford police say two men were arrested following a drug trafficking investigation.

On Thursday, April 21, police search warrants were executed at addresses located on Clarence Street and Diana Avenue, as well as a vehicle which was associated with the investigation.

Officers seized a sawed off air rifle, drug packaging and digital scales, Canadian currency, approximately 36.6 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 99.6 grams of suspected cocaine, approximately 45.2 grams of suspected fentanyl and 12 tablets of suspected hydromorphone.

Police say the estimated street value of the drugs seized is $26,515.

As a result of the investigation, 34-year-old Terence Johnson and 47-year-old Richard Greentree, both of Brantford, each were charged with four counts of possession of illicit drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
