Two men injured in St. Catharines stabbing

Two men were injured after a stabbing in St. Catharines, according to Niagara Police.

Police were called to a home on Saturday around 11:40 p.m. in the area of Division St. and Gale Cres.

Reports say officers located a 36-year-old with stab wounds.

He was transported to hospital and later taken to another hospital to treat life-threatening injuries.

A 21-year-old was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police say this is believed to be a targeted incident with no known risk to public safety.

Investigations are still ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
