Two employees assaulted during violent robberies at Halton pharmacies

Halton police say two pharmacy employees were assaulted during two separate armed robberies on Thursday.
Police say three teens, including one who was armed with a knife, entered the Kings Cove Pharmacy on Guelph St. in Georgetown just before 5:45 p.m.
The teens confronted the lone store employee and demanded narcotics.
The trio ransacked the store and quickly fled to an awaiting dark-coloured newer vehicle.
Police say the worker was assaulted during the confrontation but was not injured.
Less than an hour later, investigators say the same suspects entered the Glen Eden Pharmacy on Bronte St. South in Milton.
The trio demanded narcotics, pushed a female employee to the ground and robbed the store.
The suspects are described by police as Black, between 15 and 17 years of age, roughly five-foot-eight, with average builds. All three teens were wearing dark-coloured hoodies, track pants and face coverings.
Anyone with information that could help police with the investigation is asked to contact Const. Lindsay Murray at 905-825-4747, ext. 2416.
