Two dead in Orangeville area crash

Two people are dead and two are in hospital after a car ran off the road and smashed into a tree in Amaranth township, west of Orangeville.

The crash happened Saturday night on County Road 109.

Police say the male driver and a male passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.

A female passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and a third male suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

They are being treated at an Orangeville hospital.

No names have been released.
