Two assaulted in St. Catharines home invasion

Niagara Regional Police are hunting for four men who were armed with guns when they invaded a St. Catharines home Sunday night and beat the 28-year-old resident.

The invasion and robbery happened at approximately 9 p.m. at a home on Old Pine Trail.

A 23 year old friend was also assaulted when he walked in on the robbery.

The ordeal lasted for 10 to 15 minutes, and the suspects fled with money and other items.

One of the victims was treated and released from hospital.
