Turning $5 tip into $50,000 prize

A five dollar tip turned into a big surprise for a Hamilton woman last night, thanks to a late night trip to the convenience store.

Jennifer Swindells was close to wrapping up her shift, answering phones at Bob’s Delivery Service last night, when a grateful customer sent in a five dollar tip to thank her for being so helpful. Jennifer happened to be heading down to her local convenience store, and spent that tip on a crossword lottery ticket – and turned five bucks into something much bigger. Scot Urquhart spoke with her today.
