U.S. President Donald Trump will be the headliner for the 2020 Republican National  Convention’s final day.

About 1,000 to 1,500 people are expected to be on hand at the White House Thursday, as Trump accepts the Republican nomination.

Masks are optional for attendees but a White House official says anyone in close proximity to Trump will be tested.

Fireworks will then light the sky above the National Mall.

New security fencing went up around the perimeter of the White House complex to prepare for possible protesters.
