Amid record-high virus infection rates and continued deaths, Americans are holding muted celebrations this Independence Day.

But not US President Trump, he’s making a speech from the White House followed by a massive fireworks display on the National Mall.

Thousands are expected to turn out. Health experts are urging Americans to follow the guidelines with physical distancing and wear a mask.
