Trump and Biden to face off in final debate before election

U.S. President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Biden will return to the stage for their final face-to-face debate ahead of the election.
The first debate was punctuated by frequent interruptions that had the two men talking over each other.
The planned second debate didn’t happen after Trump was diagnosed with the coronavirus and refused to participate in a virtual format.
Instead, the two participated in dueling town halls on competing television networks.
Thursday’s debate is being hosted by Belmont University in Tennessee.
It will be moderated by NBC News correspondent Kristen Welker.
Topics will include American families, race relations, climate change, national security and leadership.
The Commission on Presidential Debates says each candidate’s microphone will be turned off while his opponent gives a two-minute answer to an initial question on each debate topic.
Election day is less than two weeks away.
