The Niagara Regional Police Service is looking for a trio of thieves after a pizza delivery person was robbed at gunpoint in Niagara Falls.

Police say the group placed an order with a local pizza shop and asked for it to be delivered to a room at the Super 8 Motel on River Rd.

When the delivery person arrived, they were confronted by three men, including one armed with a handgun. The group robbed the worker of some personal items as well as the pizza.

The men fled to a vehicle parked near the motel and were last seen heading northbound on River Rd.

The delivery person was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries and was later released.

Police say the room where the pizza was ordered to was listed as unoccupied.

Investigators describe the first suspect as being six-feet tall with a medium build and was wearing a black sweater, track pants, and a white balaclava. The second man was also six-feet tall with a medium build, and was wearing dark clothing and a dark balaclava. Police say the other suspect was five-foot-nine, had a slender build and was wearing a light-coloured sweater and a dark balaclava.
