Power restored at Trillium Hospital

The power has been restored at Trillium Hospital in Mississauga, but the hospital is still running on a generator.
Ambulances were being diverted to other hospitals in the meantime, and paramedics were on standby in case evacuations were needed.
The hospital is located on Queensway West, and firefighters say downed hydro wires in the area are responsible for the outage, which also affected traffic lights in the area. The power was lost around 2 p.m. this afternoon, and the air conditioning was also turned off.
Cindy Csordas has more from the hospital.
