Trial starts for 2 men accused in 2019 Hamilton homicide

The trial of two men accused of murdering Carel Douse in 2019 begins Monday morning.
In May 2019, 33-year-old Carel Douse was attacked outside an after hours club near King St. and East Ave.
Upon police arrival, Douse was found suffering from stab wounds at a nearby porch and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Daniel Wise, 28, and Alieu Jeng, 27, have both been charged with first-degree murder and have pleaded not guilty.
A third man has already pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
