Traffic lights knocked down
Drivers are using caution around Wentworth Street and Wilson Street in Hamilton Tuesday as the traffic lights are out.
Tuesday morning a P-T Cruiser was hit by a Mazda that ran a red light.
The crash pushed the Cruiser onto a sidewalk where it knocked over a pedestrian and a traffic light control box.
Fortunately, the pedestrian was not seriously injured, but the damaged light box controls most of the traffic lights around the area.
Hamilton police are directing traffic until repairs are made.
The 25 year old Mazda driver is charged with failing to stop at a red light.
