Tractor trailer rollover closes part of the QEW

A tractor trailer rollover shut down part of the Toronto bound QEW Saturday.

The truck lost control on the Burlington Street off-ramp, spilling scrap metal onto the highway and Van Wagners Beach Road.

A motorcyclist travelling on the road below the bridge was hit with some debris, but police say they are okay.

The closed lanes had re-opened by 6 PM.
