Toronto teen abducted as retribution over $4M drug debt found safe

Toronto police say a 14-year-old boy who was abducted as retribution over a drug debt has been found safe.
An Amber Alert was issued for the Toronto teenager after he was abducted by two unknown men Wednesday morning on his way to school.
Police say the child was taken as retribution for a massive “cocaine heist” executed by his stepbrother worth roughly $4 million.
The boy’s stepbrother is believed to have fled the Toronto area after the alleged heist.
Investigators say the boy has no connection to any criminal activity.
In a tweet posted late Thursday, police said the boy was found safe and was being taken for a medical checkup.
Investigators are expected to release more information Friday morning.
