Toronto subway station stabbing
Police have identified a man who allegedly harassed several passengers on a TTC subway train and then stabbed another man.
20-year-old Cassim Celani Cummings is wanted for attempted murder and other charges, including aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. He is considered armed and dangerous. Police say the suspect got on the subway at Eglinton Station and began harassing passengers.
A 45-year-old man from Barrie was slashed across the throat in what police have called an “unprovoked attack.” He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to recover.
