The Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office says it’s too early to tell if a fire that destroyed two well-known restaurants is suspicious.

The blaze destroyed Sotto Sotto and Spuntini in the city’s Yorkville district on Christmas.

Despite previous reports, officials say it’s too early in the investigation to determine whether it was suspicious or not.

The restaurants were closed at the time. The fire caused more than $1,000,000 in damage.

Heavy equipment is being brought in to help with the investigation, which could take several days.
