Toronto police investigating Jian Ghomeshi allegations

Toronto police have started their investigation into allegations of assault and sexual assault against Jian Ghomeshi.

Three woman have lodged complaints, and police are asking any other victims to come forward.

They’re also looking for evidence including video, photos and social media chats.

The CBC said it fired Ghomeshi after seeing “graphic evidence” that the radio host had “caused physical injury to a woman.”

Ghomeshi has not commented on the police investigation but posted last weekend on Facebook that he has engaged in rough sex, but it was always consensual.
