Two Toronto police officers are facing misconduct charges in connection with the case of a missing woman.

Tess Richey was last seen alive in the early hours of November 25th after she and a friend left a bar.  Her mother found her body four days after the missing persons report was filed.

Officers Michael Jones and Alan McCullough are now facing charges under the police services act with not performing a duty and not carrying out an order in the case.

21-year-old Kalen Schlatter has been charged with first-degree murder. Police believe he strangled Richey and abandoned her body in a stairwell hours after meeting her.
